Specialty: Sensitivity
Have you been told that you are too sensitive? Maybe you
get hurt easily and often take things personally. Do you
seem to be easily "overwhelmed" by life? Are you sensitive
to the emotions and moods of others, as if you can feel
them yourself? You may be a person who has a heightened
level of sensitivity.
In my experience I have found that people who are
emotionally sensitive are likely to get hurt, feel offended and
feel unempowered more often than other people. One
reason for this is that if you are highly "in-tune" to the
thoughts and feelings of others, you are likely to value their
thoughts and emotions more than your own. I will work
with you to help you tune into yourself more and
desensitize yourself to the effects others have on you. This
does not mean that you will become uncaring or callous, but
rather better able to give care when needed and take care
of yourself when needed.
Sensitive people tend to also be highly intuitive. You
probably pick up on nuances in other people, in groups and
in your environment. This can be a very useful skill, but if
not understood can lead to feeling overwhelmed when
you're out in the world. I will help you use your natural
intuitiveness to benefit your life instead of allowing it to
overpower your life.
